All the staff in the department were considerate and helpful.
1) The lavatory in A and E needed maintenance; the basin top was difficult to turn making hand washing not always possible.
2) 2 small bloodstains on the wall behind the trolley queue needed a damp cloth wipe.

The doctor was exceedingly thorough however we waited 5 hours to be seen and only then sent the patient here originally.
Then waited another 3+ hours to see doctor again.
The whole thing seems mismanaged and the medical staff rushed.

My son came to A and E late Thursday night with a head injury. It was dealt with 100% care CT scan and the we came to AECU on Friday morning all the nursing staff talked us through all the procedures offering care and advice at all times.
